1979 Pontiac Firebird FORMULA for Sale in New York

This all-original Formula package is one of just 7,015 units produced in 1979, making it a rare find, especially in this outstanding condition. It retains its matching numbers engine, transmission, and rear end, preserving the authenticity and performance of a classic Pontiac muscle car. Under the hood, the 301 cubic-inch 4-barrel V8 engine provides ample power and torque, giving the Firebird Formula the performance it was designed for. This engine is numbers-matching, meaning it’s the exact powerplant that came with the car when it left the factory. The TH350 automatic transmission shifts smoothly, and the 10-bolt rear end with a 3.23:1 gear ratio ensures a balance between power and drivability. The drivetrain is well-maintained, and the car starts, runs, and drives like new, with the reliability you’d expect from such a low-mileage, original example.
