This rare BMW M1 is one of the limited number of road-going examples produced, featuring the iconic Giorgetto Giugiaro–designed fiberglass body in pearlescent white. The mid-engined coupe is powered by a 3,453cc M88 inline-six engine producing 277 horsepower and 243 lb-ft of torque, paired with a ZF five-speed manual transaxle and limited-slip differential. It rides on 16″ Campagnolo alloy wheels with Pirelli Cinturato tires and features independent suspension with height-adjustable Bilstein shocks, coil springs, and ventilated disc brakes for precise handling. The interior is equipped with black leather bucket seats with checked cloth inserts, extending to the rear bulkhead and door panels, along with air conditioning, power windows, power-adjustable mirrors, and a Becker AM/FM cassette stereo. The cockpit includes a three-spoke steering wheel, a tachometer with a 6,700-rpm redline, a retrofitted 180-mph speedometer, and a full suite of auxiliary gauges. Additional features include pop-up headlights, a front spoiler, quarter panel vents, rear window louvers, and dual BMW roundels on the trailing edge of the rear flying buttresses.
