This 1972 Triumph TR6 presents an exceptional example of a classic British sports car that has undergone a comprehensive multi-year restoration. The car is finished in British Racing Green with a black vinyl interior, powered by a 2.5-liter inline-six engine paired with a four-speed manual transmission. During the restoration, the body was carefully stripped, repaired, and refinished, including work on the front fender, battery tray, and rocker panels, as well as the replacement of exterior trim components such as the windshield, soft top, weatherstripping, and various lenses. The fuel filler cap, taillight housings, and bumpers were re-chromed, while a few minor imperfections, including scratches on the stainless molding above the windshield, remain. This TR6 is equipped with silver powder-coated 15” steel wheels, bright trim rings, and Michelin Defender XT tires. The suspension and braking system were extensively refurbished, including new front brake calipers and pads, rear brake components, suspension bushings, front shocks, and upper ball joints. The brake booster was rebuilt, and the rotors and drums were turned during the process. Inside, the black vinyl upholstery, door panels, carpets, and various dashboard components were replaced, while the Smiths instrumentation was restored, with a new walnut fascia added. The car features a Clarion AM/FM stereo paired with Rockford Fosgate speakers, although the stereo's reception is noted to be poor. The dashboard retains the 140-mph speedometer and tachometer, with the latter having been refurbished by Nisonger Instruments. The engine was overhauled during the restoration, including the replacement of key components such as the pistons, camshaft, oil pump, fuel tank, and water pump, ensuring reliable performance. The fuel system was rebuilt, including the dual Zenith Stromberg carburetors, and the ignition system was fully serviced. Transmission work included a new clutch, pressure plate, and master and slave cylinders. The differential and rear axle bearings were also replaced, and the frame was reinforced above the rear axle. Additionally, a stainless-steel exhaust system was installed, and the chassis was sandblasted and painted.
