1972 Buick GS 455 is one of a reported 126 convertible examples produced for the model year and was acquired by the seller after it was offered on BaT in June 2024. Subsequent work included overhauling the convertible top mechanism, replacing the power steering pump, radiator, battery, valve covers, and air conditioning components, repainting the engine block, and applying a ceramic coating to the exhaust manifolds. The blue convertible body is complemented by a white soft top and boot cover along with color-keyed cabin upholstery, and the car is powered by a 455ci V8 linked with a three-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential.
