1971 Opel GT The GT was styled in-house and its steel body was built by French contractor Brissonneau & Lotz, with drivetrain installation and final assembly completed by Opel in Germany. This example was factory finished in Fireglow Orange (529) and features a chrome-finished wraparound front bumper and split rear bumperettes as well as pop-up headlights, a vented hood, a left side-view mirror, pop-out rear quarter windows, and dual exhaust outlets with polished finishers. The hood was repainted.
Silver-finished 13″ steel wheels feature bright trim rings and Opel-logo hubcaps and are mounted with 175/70 Kumho Solus TA11 tires. Braking is provided by power-assisted front discs and rear drums.
The bucket seats are upholstered in black vinyl with pleated basketweave inserts. Black carpeted floor mats with red piping line the footwells, and additional appointments include lap belts, hand-crank windows, and a Delco Kadett AM push-button radio.
