1970 Porsche 911E for Sale in Illinois

Finished in striking Irish Green over a black interior, this 1970 Porsche 911E Coupe represents a classic example of early long-hood 911 design and engineering. Built by Karmann, this model is one of a limited number produced for the model year, adding to its collectibility and appeal. Power comes from a 2.2-liter flat-six engine equipped with mechanical fuel injection, paired with a five-speed manual transaxle for an engaging, period-correct driving experience. The engine benefits from upgrades including Mahle pistons and cylinders, Turbo-specification valve covers, and oil-fed chain tensioners. The exterior features polished trim, gold badging, and a driver-side mirror, while the car rides on iconic 15-inch Fuchs wheels wrapped in Continental tires. Suspension and braking enhancements include Bilstein rear shocks, upgraded front torsion bars, a 911S front sway bar, and rebuilt front calipers. Inside, the cabin is trimmed in black upholstery with matching door panels and dashboard. Equipment includes a Blaupunkt AM/FM radio, fold-down rear seats, and a classic five-gauge instrument cluster with a central tachometer.
