1970 Oldsmobile 442 Powered by a strong 455ci V8 motor, the 442 has plenty of power to make any drive an enjoyable experience. In order to keep up with its competitors and General Motors lifting a displacement cap on their smaller vehicles, Oldsmobile made the 455ci V8 the standard engine on the 442 with base horsepower being rated at 365.
