This Genuine 1970 Dodge Challenger T/A is an exceptionally rare and highly desirable muscle car, especially with the factory 4-speed and the striking factory red with red interior combination. With only 989 4-speed versions ever produced, this Challenger T/A stands as a true collector's gem. The T/A is not just another muscle car; it was designed to compete with the high-performance vehicles in the Trans Am racing series, and only 2,400 T/As were made in total for one production year (1970). The Challenger T/A was built to be more than just a standard 340 muscle car. It featured a unique engine block that was designed to be stronger than the standard 340, along with special heads, a modified valve train, and a 3-carb Holley setup (often referred to as a "6-pack"). The car also boasted low-restriction side exhausts that exited in front of the rear tires, a feature that not only improved performance but also gave the car an unmistakable aggressive stance.
