1969 Chevrolet Camaro coupe was acquired by the selling dealer in 2023, and a subsequent custom build included repairing and refinishing the body in Glacier Blue as well as installing a 7.0-liter LS427 V8 crate engine along with a Tremec five-speed manual transmission and a Currie 9″ rear axle. The interior was re-trimmed in blue vinyl, and a TMI headliner was fitted along with Dakota Digital gauges and an American Autowire harness. The car rides on RideTech suspension components and adjustable coilovers, and 18″ alloy wheels are mounted over four-wheel disc brakes with a Wilwood master cylinder. The 18″ Minilite-style alloy wheels are mounted with 235/40 front and 265/40 rear Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. The front subframe was modified to accommodate RideTech suspension components consisting of tubular front control arms, an adjustable rear four-link setup, and adjustable coilovers at all four corners as well as bolt-in subframe connectors. Braking is handled by four-wheel discs with a Wilwood master cylinder, drilled and slotted rotors, Corvette-branded front calipers, and Baer rear calipers. The 7.0-liter LS427 V8 crate engine was installed during the build and features LS7 cylinder heads, a custom air intake system, and a GM Performance serpentine accessory system. Hooker headers feed into a 3″ dual exhaust system with an X-pipe, and cooling is handled by an aluminum Ron Davis radiator with progressive dual electric cooling fans.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec TKO five-speed manual transmission, a hydraulic clutch assembly, and a Currie 9″ rear axle with a 3.90:1 differential.
