The 1968 Shelby GT500 Convertible is one of the rarest American muscle cars, with only 402 convertibles built out of 4,451 Shelbys produced that year. It features the 428-4V Police Interceptor V8 producing 360 horsepower, paired with a C-6 Select Shift automatic transmission, and comes equipped with power disc brakes, power steering, and a deluxe interior with luxury bucket seats, a tachometer, trip odometer, AM radio, shoulder harnesses, and other original Shelby trim and decor. Factory options include a power top, extra cooling package, competition handling package, oil pressure gauge, ammeter, remote control outside mirror, wheel lip moldings, and the visibility group.
