1968 Chevrolet Camaro Yenko Tribute for Sale in Alabama

This 1967 Camaro Yenko Tribute delivers the unmistakable look of the original with even more performance and everyday drivability. Built to exacting standards using many authentic and NOS-style components. Finished in eye-catching Butternut Yellow, the exterior is beautifully presented with a deep, high-quality finish. Signature Yenko-style details include the red, white, and blue shield badging, SS emblems, and the correct black nose stripe that flows seamlessly across the body. A dual-scooped Yenko-style hood, black vinyl roof, chrome trim, front and rear bumpers, and a subtle rear spoiler complete the iconic look. The car sits on correct-style 14-inch Pontiac Rally II wheels wrapped in BF Goodrich redline radial tires, enhancing its period-correct stance. Inside, the fully restored black interior is both clean and authentic in appearance. Low-back bucket seats, detailed door panels, and fresh carpeting create a factory-inspired environment. A Hurst shifter rises from the center, paired with a classic three-spoke SS steering wheel. The dashboard features factory instrumentation along with additional Yenko-style Stewart-Warner gauges and tachometer, blending vintage aesthetics with performance monitoring. Under the hood lies the heart of this build—a 427 cubic inch V8 producing an estimated 450+ horsepower. Equipped with an aluminum intake manifold, four-barrel carburetor, and chrome dress-up components, the engine bay is as impressive visually as it is mechanically. Power is sent through a Muncie M20 4-speed manual transmission to a 12-bolt rear axle with 3.73 gearing and Positraction, delivering exhilarating acceleration. The undercarriage is exceptionally clean, showcasing solid original floor pans, a detailed chassis, and a like-new dual exhaust system with ceramic-coated headers and Flowmaster mufflers. Suspension consists of front coil springs and rear leaf springs, while braking is handled by power front disc and rear drum brakes.
