This 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle SS coupe is finished in Madeira Maroon over a black vinyl interior and powered by a numbers-matching 396ci V8 paired with a rebuilt Muncie M22 four-speed manual transmission with Gear Vendors overdrive and a 4.11:1 Eaton Positraction rear end. The car features refurbished 15-inch Rallye wheels with chrome trim rings and BFGoodrich redline tires, chrome bumpers and trim, SS 396 badging, and a vinyl roof. The interior has been refreshed with black vinyl upholstery, front bucket seats with headrests, a replacement headliner and carpets, a wood-rimmed steering wheel, horizontal 120-mph speedometer, ‘Blinker’ tachometer, and factory-style gauges, along with a period AM/FM radio and Vintage Air conditioning system. Engine upgrades and mechanical work include a Quick Fuel 750-cfm carburetor, dual 2.5-inch Magnaflow exhaust, electronic ignition, fuel system upgrades, rebuilt starter and alternator, new engine and transmission mounts, and suspension enhancements including sway bars, bushings, ball joints, coil springs, and adjustable shocks. This Chevelle SS combines classic 1960s muscle car styling with thorough mechanical upgrades and attention to detail, offering both authentic numbers-matching performance and modern drivability.
