1967 Amphicar Model 770 The 13″ white-painted steel wheels wear Amphicar-stamped hubcaps and are mounted with whitewall tires. The front wheels serve as rudders when the car is afloat, and stopping power on land is handled by hydraulic four-wheel drum brakes.
Two rows of bench seating are upholstered in orange and white vinyl and complemented by color-coordinated door panels. A slatted wood floor covering has been installed, and the push-button AM radio is linked to kick panel-mounted speakers.
The two-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of non-functional MotoMeter instruments consisting of a 90-mph speedometer, an analog clock, and a combination gauge. A trio of aftermarket gauges for fuel level, oil pressure, and amperage have been installed to the left of the steering column.
