The banjo-style steering wheel is wrapped in an aftermarket cover and sits ahead of Jaeger instrumentation consisting of a tachometer, a 120-mph speedometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level along with a Lucas ammeter. The 2.1-liter inline-four is mated to a four-speed manual transmission, and fuel is fed through dual Zenith Stromberg 175CD carburetors. The engine and transmission were rebuilt during the refurbishment with replacement of hoses and wires as well as the thermostat, water pump, clutch, and brake master cylinder.
