1965 Porsche 356C for Sale in Maine

The 1965 Porsche 356C is a beautifully restored example of the iconic Porsche 356 series. Originally built on July 6, 1964, this model underwent a comprehensive refurbishment that included a bare-metal repaint in its striking Irish Green, replacing the original black finish. The re-chromed exterior trim, refurbished headlight assemblies, and fresh glass, front turn signals, and taillights enhance its timeless appeal. Body features include twin engine cover grilles, a single side mirror, body-colored bumpers with chrome guards, and rear reflectors, all contributing to its vintage aesthetic. Powering this Porsche 356C is a replacement 1,720cc flat-four engine, rebuilt during the refurbishment to include new pistons and cylinders. The Zenith carburetors were overhauled by 356 Carburetor Rescue, and the four-speed manual transaxle was refreshed with new bearings, synchronizers, and seals. A refined suspension system with Sachs shocks further enhances its driving performance.
