1964 Pontiac Bonneville Convertible 389 Tri-Power 4-Speed The car has since undergone a refurbishment of over five years that included overhauling the 389ci V8 and fitting it with a reconditioned Tri-Power induction assembly plus long-branch exhaust manifolds. Additional work involved a repaint in blue, powder-coating the chassis black, and rebuilding the four-speed manual transmission and limited-slip differential along with mounting Kelsey–Hayes eight-lug 14″ wheels and replacing the power-operated white convertible top and hydraulics. The reupholstered white leather interior is outfitted with front bucket seats, a center console, a factory tachometer, a reconditioned steering wheel, and a replacement speedometer and clock. The cabin features front bucket and rear bench seats trimmed in white leather with like-colored door panels as well as a blue reconditioned dash pad and carpeting. Bright trim adorns the dash and the center console, the latter of which is home to a locking storage compartment and a shifter with a “cue ball” knob. The Pontiac Delco push-button AM radio is inoperative.
