This 1963 Studebaker Avanti R2 is one of only 1,833 supercharged examples produced for the 1963 and 1964 model years, delivered new in striking Avanti White over a red interior. Powered by a numbers-matching, Paxton-supercharged 289ci Hawk V8 rated at 289 horsepower and paired with a four-speed manual transmission, this rare Avanti also features a Twin Traction rear differential, power-assisted front disc brakes, and power steering. The fiberglass body was refinished and retains bright chrome bumpers, cream-finished 15” steel wheels with spoke-style covers, and Americus Classic whitewall tires. Inside, the red interior is accented by a cream dashboard, power windows, and a factory AM radio.
