1959 Lancia Appia GTE Zagato for Sale in TX

This 1959 Lancia Appia GTE Zagato is a rare Italian GT featuring lightweight aluminum Zagato bodywork finished in white over a white and blue leather interior. The car rides on 15″ steel wheels with Lancia-branded hubcaps and is equipped with a sliding-pillar independent front suspension, a solid rear axle with leaf springs, and hydraulic drum brakes on all four corners. Covered headlights, a bullet-style side mirror, and subtle Zagato badging complete the elegant exterior. Under the hood, the 1.1-liter V4 engine is fitted with a single Weber carburetor and a four-into-one header, producing spirited performance for its class. Power is delivered to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual transmission. Additional mechanical attention includes a tuned engine, dry-ice cleaned underside, and a replacement exhaust system. The cabin features low-back bucket seats re-trimmed in white leather with blue piping, blue carpeting, a wood-rimmed Nardi steering wheel, and Veglia instrumentation including a central tachometer, 100-mph speedometer, and auxiliary gauges. A five-digit odometer displays just over 33,000 miles.
