This 1958 Chevrolet Impala convertible was purchased by the seller’s late husband in 2001 and was subsequently refurbished. The seller inherited the car in 2014 and the ensuing work consisted of rebuilding the carburetors and replacing the fuel tank, sending unit, fuel pump, speedometer, and battery. The car is finished in white over red and powered by a 348ci Turbo Thrust V8 paired with a Turboglide three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes a powered black convertible soft top, a red convertible top boot, power steering, power brakes, a Continental spare tire kit, fender skirts, triple two-barrel carburetors, and a dual exhaust system with Flo-Pro mufflers. The 14″ steel wheels wear polished covers and are mounted with older C78-14 Remington Cushion-Aire whitewall tires. The car is equipped with power steering, and braking is handled by power-assisted drums at all four corners. The tires are dry-rotted.
