1953 Ford Customline V8 Body design stayed pretty similar with a few cosmetic changes between trim models. However the biggest change that would happen is that Ford would phase out the ever so desirable flathead V8 after 1953. After a twenty year run, the famous V8 would be replaced by an overhead valve V8 configuration. The suspension and brakes have all been gone through and the ride is fantastic.
