This 1949 Bentley Mark VI is a right-hand-drive two-door sports saloon with exquisite coachwork by James Young Ltd of Bromley, England. Finished in an elegant two-tone burgundy and black, this rare example was originally one of just over 200 Mark VI saloons with aluminum bodies crafted by James Young. Under the hood, this Bentley is powered by the original 4,257cc inline-six engine, mated to a four-speed manual transmission. With its floor-shifted gearbox, this car offers a classic driving experience that is both powerful and refined. The car's elegant styling is complemented by 16” steel wheels with polished Bentley-stamped covers, which are mounted with Firestone Deluxe Champion tires. Inside, the car features a gray leather interior that includes individual front bucket seats and a rear bench with a folding armrest. The interior is further enhanced with wooden trims on the doors and window frames, as well as fold-down wooden trays for rear passengers. The wooden dashboard houses factory Smiths instrumentation, including a 110-mph speedometer and a combination gauge.
