This 1939 Buick Special Series 40 Sport Coupe is a fully restomodded classic that blends vintage styling with modern performance and reliability. The car has been repainted in its original green color and features chrome trim, wide whitewall tires with full wheel covers, and new rubber running boards. The distinctive front grille, hood bulge, and engraved “SPECIAL” lettering on the rear quarters preserve its original 1939 Buick character, while subtle updates like electric windshield wipers and a hidden AM/FM radio under the driver’s seat bring modern convenience. The interior retains its original fold-down jump seats and adds front seat lap belts, along with tan floor mats and a wood-trimmed dash.
