The 1963 Volvo PV544 presented here is a highly modified classic that merges the charming vintage design of the Volvo with the power and performance of a GM 350ci V8 engine. The car has been extensively customized, offering both enhanced performance and comfort while retaining its classic look. Powered by a rebuilt 350ci GM V8, this example is paired with a five-speed manual transmission, a significant upgrade from the stock setup, offering improved driving dynamics and highway cruising ability. The engine features an Edelbrock 600-cfm four-barrel carburetor and a Ron Davis aluminum radiator with an electric fan to keep temperatures in check. The car's exhaust system has been custom-built, with headers and custom piping that exit ahead of the rear tires, producing a throaty exhaust note.
