There is truly nothing quite like a well-sorted split-window Beetle. Few vintage Volkswagens create the same emotional response—these early cars are genuine icons that launched the VW legacy. Their simple yet elegant design, combined with extremely low production numbers compared to later years, make them some of the most sought-after air-cooled models ever built.
This particular example represents the essence of early Beetle desirability: a 1952 Deluxe Split-Window finished in a highly appealing pastel green and equipped with the rare and desirable “crotch cooler” vents. These vents were produced only for a short period (1951–1952 on Deluxe models) and function surprisingly well, providing a refreshing breeze to the lower cabin area on warm days.
